What is the study of Animal Science?

Students learn the science, art and practical methods of caring for, improving and managing livestock and companion animals.

 

What's in our Department of Animal Science?

The professional domains of our curriculum consist of animal-food products processing, nutrition and feeding, breeding and genetics, physiology and healthcare, and biotechnology with biomedicine. The highlight of our department curriculum exerts a training duo of animal husbandry and animal healthcare assistance. The professional domains of our curriculum consist of animal products processing, nutrition and feeding, breeding and genetics, physiology and healthcare, and biotechnology with biomedicine. The professional job markets for our graduates are highly associate with the animal industries of farm animals (including swine, dairy cow, poultry, and goat), specified pet animals (dog and cat), and as well laboratory animals (rat and rabbit).

Owner/Management/Staff of Livestock and Poultry Farms, Food Processing Plants, Animal Feed Plants, and Veterinary Clinics etc.
